How to Write Product Listings That Sell
Updated 5 min readBy AUC Smart Services Pvt Ltd
A buyer can't hold your product, so the listing has to answer their questions. Clear, honest listings sell more and lead to fewer returns.
Write a clear title
Lead with brand, model and the key detail buyers search for, such as storage, size or colour. Skip vague words like 'best' or 'amazing'.
Use real photos
Show the actual product from several angles in good light, including the box and accessories. Real photos build more trust than stock images.
Give the details buyers need
- Key specifications and what's in the box
- Warranty: brand warranty or seller warranty, and how long
- Condition, if it isn't brand new
- Delivery, pickup and return options
Keep price and stock accurate
Nothing loses a customer faster than ordering an item that turns out to be out of stock. Update stock and prices whenever they change.
Answer questions quickly
Fast, helpful replies turn browsers into buyers, and good ratings bring more visibility.
